Ludwigsburg Industrial Center
One of the largest privately financed industrial and transformation projects in southern Germany.
LIST Construction is constructing the Ludwigsburg Industrial Center on behalf of INBRIGHT and Patron Capital. Around 100,000 square meters of ESG-compliant rental space for industry, research, laboratories, warehouses, and offices is being created on the approximately 51,000 square meter site in the western part of the city.
The contract comprises two of three sub-projects: the new construction of Clusters 1–3 and the new construction of a parking garage with a total area of around 50,000 square meters using sustainable hybrid timber construction. LIST was awarded the contract not only because of its proven track record of working with INBRIGHT, but also because of an extensive list of optimizations, including adjustments to the roof shape, special foundations, and parking garage construction. The project is being implemented in accordance with a consistent ESG strategy: energy-efficient new buildings in accordance with the KfW-40/BEG-40 standard, photovoltaic systems, connection to the district heating network of Stadtwerke Ludwigsburg, green electricity, and an integrated e-mobility concept are planned as the basis for the targeted DGNB Gold certification. LIST Eco is supporting the DGNB requirements, while LIST Ingenieure is responsible for the planning.
