business park Bremerhaven

A new logistics campus covering around 76,000 square meters has been built in the fishing port of Bremerhaven.

LIST Construction was commissioned by DLH to construct the modern and sustainable property on a turnkey basis. The tenant is the container shipping company Maersk. The logistics campus consists of a total of seven hall sections and also has office and mezzanine space.

The property is heated using air-to-air heat pump technology. A PV system was installed on the roof by the client. The important aspect of sustainability was underpinned by DGNB Gold certification. In addition, there were other special features that were taken into account during construction: The 140,000 sqm site is located in wind load zone 4 and also required extensive civil engineering work. To improve the building ground, the project team installed around 16,500 full displacement columns (19.50 m each) in the ground.

The List Gruppe's in-house engineering company, LIST Ingenieure, was responsible for the MEP planning and also took charge of the BIM planning. The electrical implementation planning was carried out by E+S.
