Business Park Bremerhaven
A new logistics campus covering approximately 76,000 square meters has been built at the fishing port in Bremerhaven.
LIST Construction was commissioned by DLH to construct this modern and sustainable property on a turnkey basis. The tenant is the container shipping company Maersk. The logistics campus consists of a total of seven warehouse sections and also features office and mezzanine spaces.
The property is heated using air-to-air heat pump technology. A rooftop PV system was installed by the client. The important aspect of sustainability was underscored by a DGNB Gold certification. In addition, several other special considerations were taken into account during construction: The 140,000-square-meter site is located in wind load zone 4 and also required extensive civil engineering work. To improve the building foundation, the project team installed approximately 16,500 full-displacement piles (each 19.50 m long) into the ground.
The List Gruppe’s in-house engineering firm, LIST Ingenieure, was responsible for the MEP planning and also handled the BIM planning. The detailed electrical design was carried out by E+S.
