The pressure is real – Crenet Annual Conference at LIST in Düsseldorf.

  • journal

This year, LIST hosted the crenet e.V. annual conference at its Düsseldorf location and served as a platform for real answers to real questions.

"real people – real estate." isn’t just our tagline. It describes how we understand the transformation of the industry: Don’t sugarcoat challenges. Don’t sit on changes. Don’t put off the future until later.

The conference focused on the questions currently preoccupying the industry: How are climate, geopolitics, and new security requirements changing real estate and locations? How must organizations and decision-making structures adapt? And how can we successfully transform existing buildings through serial construction, repurposing, and circular concepts—both economically and in practice?

The future is decided by the existing building stock!

A large portion of the real estate we’ll be using in 2040 already exists today. The key to success lies in revitalization, repurposing, and decarbonization—approached holistically from economic, technical, and ecological perspectives.

We are grateful for the opportunity to host this inspiring exchange.
