In Dreieich, just a short distance from Frankfurt Airport, LIST Nordhorn is carrying out the construction of an innovative light-industrial project for FOUR PARX that takes a consistently sustainable approach. Two buildings with striking wooden structural frameworks combine functionality, design, and environmental responsibility.
What's taking shape here:
On behalf of FOUR PARX, LIST Bau Nordhorn is constructing two turnkey light-industrial buildings totaling approximately 10,000 square meters using a completely modern timber construction method. The new buildings are being erected on a challenging, compact construction site—planned sustainably and digitally with LIST Ingenieure and LIST Eco.

The project combines environmental responsibility with technical precision:
- Wooden structural framework: columns, roof structure (trusses), and mezzanine level made almost entirely of wood
- Just under 40 trusses, each with a span of 30 meters
- Over 850 cbm of glued-laminated timber (GLT) used
- Goal: DGNB Gold certification and compliance with the EU Taxonomy
In addition, we focus on comprehensive functionality:
- BEG-40 Standard
- Comprehensive fire alarm system
- Reinforced concrete tank for firefighting water
- WHG-compliant waterproofing of the hall floor
