Sustainable Concept Development and Implementation Bremen Business Park
Tested, optimized, and designed for sustainability: A taxonomy-compliant business park has been developed in Bremen. The entire List Gruppe provided comprehensive support for the construction project.
LIST Eco first assessed the current state of the plans and, building on that, developed a sustainability concept that integrates life cycle assessment (LCA), life cycle costing (LCC), circularity, and the EU Taxonomy. The building services engineering was handled by LIST Ingenieure, while LIST Bau was responsible for the turnkey implementation.
Results of the hot-spot analysis:
An overview of the sustainability concept:
- Identification of 12 key emission drivers (materials/construction methods)
- A package of measures to align with the climate protection objective of the EU Taxonomy
- Optimizations such as low-carbon concrete and steel, recycled aluminum windows, etc.
- Efficiency House 40 standard
- Customized utility concept including heat pump technology, ceiling air heaters, PV system, wind turbines, and solar thermal systems
- Smart e-mobility concept for cars and bicycles
Manage to green:
Sustainability-related and project-specific criteria, a concrete CO2 budget for the construction and operation of the business park, and a future-oriented and as self-sufficient as possible energy supply: LIST Eco developed these principles with the client and continuously refined them throughout the planning and execution process.
