Ponitz Logistics Center
In Ponitz, LIST BiB has built a modern, sustainable logistics center on a plot of land measuring approximately 49,500 square meters, with an outdoor area of 10,100 square meters.
Thanks to the combination of photovoltaic systems, geothermal energy, underfloor heating, and the building’s facade, the facility can be operated entirely without fossil fuels.
One of the biggest challenges was the wastewater drainage system: over 500 meters of piping had to be installed. Since the soil conditions could not be fully assessed in advance, this was an uncertain task for both us and our partner. We developed a solution-oriented concept to optimize the system. This involved a small-scale wastewater treatment plant, which we implemented.
Another distinctive feature of this project is the mezzanine, which was constructed of reinforced concrete at a height of 3.5 meters.
