Penny Market Oberhonnefeld
LIST Construction constructed a new Penny supermarket of market type B in Oberhonnefeld.
The discount store has a modern design—with roof structures made of glued laminated timber beams, high-quality lighting, and exterior wall cladding made of wood.
The construction project required extensive earthworks with around 10,000 cubic meters of soil removed. A new access road was also built, for which a bus shelter was relocated. A root chamber system was installed for the 18 trees planned. Part of the gas station area had to be taken over, but the existing asphalt was removed.
During the implementation, LIST Bau was supported by colleagues from LIST Ingenieure in the areas of MEP (building services) and the BIM model.
