Penny Market Oberhonnefeld
LIST Construction built a new Penny supermarket (Type B) in Oberhonnefeld.
The discount store features a modern design—with a roof structure made of glued-laminated timber trusses, high-quality lighting, and wood siding on the exterior walls.
The construction project required extensive earthwork, involving the removal of approximately 10,000 cbm of soil. In addition, a new access road was built, which required relocating a bus shelter. A root chamber system was installed for the 18 planned trees. Part of the gas station area had to be incorporated into the project, but the existing asphalt was removed.
During construction, LIST Bau was supported by colleagues from LIST Ingenieure in the areas of MEP (building services) and the BIM model.
