logistics center Hamburg-Billbrook
In Hamburg-Billbrook, LIST carried out the construction of a state-of-the-art logistics center covering around 28,900 square meters for ECE.
The new building is impressive not only because of its central location, but also because of its sustainable and flexible design. The complex consists of a hall measuring around 24,500 square meters, approximately 3,100 square meters of multifunctional space on the mezzanine, and a two-story office building. Thanks to its flexible floor plans, the logistics center can be divided into various units starting at 5,000 square meters and can be used as a single-tenant or multi-tenant property.
The logistics property was built to the GEG40 standard and certified according to DGNB Platinum. The energy concept included a PV system combined with efficient heat pumps. In addition, the office extension was greened and e-charging stations were installed. The new building was constructed on a brownfield site. The foundation of the building sections was particularly challenging – concrete columns were used for this purpose. In addition, gas drainage was installed underneath the building.
