logistics center Gelsenkirchen
The real estate group Dietz and LIST Construction have completed another turnkey new construction project: a logistics center covering approximately 14,300 square meters, divided into two sections, has been built in Gelsenkirchen.
In addition, almost 2,000 square meters of mezzanine space has been added, half of which has been used for office expansion.
Appropriate precautions were taken during the first construction phase with a view to future use: for the tenant of Unit 1, a manufacturer of car paints that operates a wholesale filling facility here, mixing rooms with their own ventilation system and explosion protection were built on the ground floor, among other things. All units were lined with WGK II foil and the hall floor was lowered by 10 cm to provide backflow volume. For sustainability reasons, a wooden roof structure was used and the roof was partially greened and pre-equipped for the installation of a PV system. LIST Ingenieure supported the construction project as an expert in architectural planning and technical building equipment.
