Lagenser Forum City Hall Location

Following a Europe-wide design competition and subsequent bidding process, LIST Construction was awarded the contract for the new construction and redesign of the former City-Center into the new Lagenser Forum.

The project concept, developed in collaboration with Dälken Ingenieurgesellschaft, Favier Planungsgesellschaft für technische Gebäudeausrüstung, and AD Engineering, called for partial demolition and new construction, as well as a revitalization. In addition to providing turnkey construction services, LIST Bau also handled the interim financing for the project.

Right in the heart of the city, the Lagenser Forum with its integrated town hall has now been completed within 16 months. Divided into five building sections, the new structure features multiple entrances and is open and transparent in all directions. The combination of administrative and retail spaces creates an ideal mix for the heavily trafficked downtown area.
