B&B Hotel Willingen
The hotel was built as an energy-efficient building in accordance with the BEG EH40 plus EE standard.
A new B&B Hotel has opened in Willingen—for LIST Construction, this marks the 35th turnkey project the general contractor has completed for the French hotel chain. The approximately 3,090-square-meter property features a partial basement, four above-ground floors, and offers guests a total of 95 guest rooms.
LIST Construction constructed the property, including the outdoor facilities with 49 parking spaces, and also handled the KfW grant application on behalf of the client. As a result, the hotel was built as an energy-efficient building meeting the BEG EH40 plus EE standard. Due to the requirements of the Energy-Efficient Building standard, hot water for the hotel building is no longer heated by a gas boiler, as was previously the case, but rather by a wood pellet boiler. Furthermore, a photovoltaic system was installed on the flat roof, and the entire building envelope was constructed with improved thermal insulation properties.
